My EVGA 980 does not have the fans on at idle, but it idles lt;40C. Are they clogged with dust? Playing CS GO at 2560x1600 with 4xMSAA Triple Buffering... rendering aboug 280fps and my gpu fan did not increase at all as it reached 80C!!!! Setting it to full speed manually cooled it down to 67c. Oct 05, 2016 Idunno, I used 2 different PSUs one is 1000 watts and the other is 650 watts. Also used 2 different sets of PCIe 6 pin cables. May 10, 2018 I made sure to properly seat the GPU in the PCI-E slot, and use a 62 Pin to power it. Its#39; fans are spinning and the lights are on, but even the GPUs display- and HDMI port don#39;t work. I#39;m using the mobos HDMI port. My specs are: OS: Windows 10 64-bit. Monitor: AOC G2460PF 1920x1080 144Hz Just on 60 Hz right now, tho CPU: i5-8600k 6x3.6 GHz. Aug 08, 2016 Put GTX 980 back in. Installed new drivers with a clean install. Same problem. I repeated this process 3 times trying older Nvidia driver versions and no success with any of them. Reseating the GTX 980 each time as well, so I know it#39;s not a hardware install issue. My Mobo Bios version is up to date I updated it last month from version F1 to F2.
